What will the conference party need to supply for the children?
Most conference organizers prefer to have the resort or conference center cater meals for the children along with the adults. Other than that, we just need you to provide the room, tables, chairs, electricity, access to restrooms, and the children. We'll take care of everything else!
What kind of safety measures will Hilton Head Nannies provide?
We have a large pool of carefully screened and highly qualified nannies. Parents have told us that they immediately sensed the professionalism and competence of our nannies when meeting them for the first time. We are very, very choosy.
Sign-in Process
We have a very stringent sign-in process and encourage parents to allow about 5-10 minutes for signing their children in. At the registration table, parents will fill out a small registration slip to tell us about medical problems, allergies, or any other specialized care their child will need.
Security Bands
Each parent and child will be given a security band with a number on it. Upon returning to claim their children, the parent will be required to show their matching band and also photo ID.
Allergy Allerts
During registration, we will place a red, Tyvek, water-proof wristband for each child who has a serious allergy. The nanny who checks the child in will write the specific allergy on the child's wristband so that all nannies are alert and watching.
CPR & First Aid Certification
Most of our nannies have CPR and First Aid certification. All of our Event Coordinators are CPR and First Aid Certified. Your personal Event Coordinator will be on site during the entire event.
First Aid Kits
Fully stocked, child themed First Aid kits are brought to every event and remain at the event until the last child has left.
Uniforms
Our nannies come dressed in black pants and Hilton Head Nannies shirts. All of our nannies also wear photo ID Hilton Head Nannies badges. Both the children and parents can easily identify our nannies.
What is your nanny to child ratio guideline?
We use the following guideline when estimating how many nannies you will need:
Infants?1 year of age: 1 nanny per child
Toddlers 1 year?2 years of age: 1 nanny for every 2 children
2.5 years-5 years of age: 1 nanny for every 3 children
5-8 years of age: 1 nanny for every 4 children
8-12 years of age: 1 nanny for every 5 children
What are the fees associated with using your conference service?
We have a variety of packages and plans to suit every budget and every need. The fees are largely dependant upon the ages of the children and the number of children we will be caring for. The cost also depends on the amount of add-on services that you add into your package. We will be happy to work up an estimate for you!
When should I make my reservation?
We encourage conference organizers to book as soon as possible due to the popularity of this service. We have reservations booked for conferences that are a year away. We will need plenty of time to prepare and arrange for the appropriate number of nannies and activities and supplies. However, we will do our best to work with all requests.
Will you work with the Resort or Conference Center we are using?
Absolutely! We are happy to work with you're the resort or conference center to coordinate schedules and activities. There may be times that we will need to communicate with you directly. However, we will work to make this as easy a process for you as possible!
How easy will it be to get in touch with Hilton Head Nannies during the planning and during the conference itself?
Very easy. You will have your own Head Nannies Event Coordinator who will be in charge of the childcare for your event from start to finish. She will provide you with both an office number and also a cell phone number so that you can reach her effortlessly.
How do I get started?
Getting started is easy! Just give us a call and ask to speak with an Event manager. We'll take it from there.
